Jane Teacher Desk

Jane's generously sized work surface awaits your choice of laminate and PVC selections. The cabinet support pedestal configurations include a 3-drawer model and a cupboard storage model, both in your choice of laminate (HPL) or melamine (TFL) finish. The unit is attached to a powder coated steel frame (again, your choice of finish). The cabinet unit uses (4) casters and the leg assembly receives (2) 60mm casters with brakes. Jane is available in three heights - 29"H, 36"H and 42"H. The 36"H and 42"H models feature an open storage area above the drawers or cupboard storage.

Binny Book Browser Bin

Media Technologies offers the Binny Picture Book and Book Browser Bins in both standard and juvenile heights. Casters are also an option. Choose from our veneer finishes and/or HPL.

End Panels: All end panels are constructed of 1” nine ply hardwood plywood with premium grade veneer, HPL or TFL on both faces; exposed edges are banded with 3mm solid wood or 3mm PVC edges and corners with a 1/8” radius.

Browser Box:
The upper browser box is 35”L x 23-3/4”W x 5-7/8”D with 3/4” thick long sides and bottom. Vertical back partition is 1” thick. Browser boxes are engineered with dowel and glue construction. Bins have (11) holes for adjusting ¼”diameter finished steel rod. All items are grade A veneer with 3mm wood edge bands or HPL or TFL with 3mm PVC edge bands.

Base:
The toe assembly is a 4” high box frame constructed of 1” thick 9 ply hardwood plywood. The toe assembly is bolted to the end and intermediate panels using 5/16” - 18 machine bolts.

Mobile Option:
A steel chassis is installed inside of the toe assembly. Casters are bolted to the chassis with 1/4”-20 bolts and nylon insert lock nuts and the entire assembly is attached to the end panel with 5/16”-18 machine bolts. The steel chassis provides formed flanges under the toe and end panels for extra support. The casters are 2” diameter, non-locking. The mobile bookcase sits 1/2” off the floor.

Column Wrap Table

FINALLY a way to re-purpose those existing columns! Available to fit round and square columns in three heights. Please contact your Sharp School Services sales representative for a column wrap consultation.

Tops for Round Column: Top surface is 1-1/4” thick. Top of work surface is .050 high-pressure laminate with .030 phenolic backer. Work surface is mounted to a powder coated steel leg frame which is fixed to the column. Edgebanding is 3mm PVC. Tops are going to be held back 1” all the way around the column but will be banded with PVC.

Tops for Square Column: Top surface is 1-1/4” thick. Top of work surface is .050 high-pressure laminate with .030 phenolic backer. Work surface is mounted to a powder coated steel leg frame which is fixed to the column. Edgebanding is 3mm PVC. Tops will have 4” tall backsplash around the column with optional grommets for cable management.

Metal Leg Frames: Steel post leg is a 16 GA 1” square tube style leg weldment with a 2-1/8” x 13” steel mounting plate and a 1-1/8” black leveling glide. Customer specifies powder coat color. Hole in steel tube provided for attachment to the column. Leg frames attach to the top using supplied #12 x 1” PH screws.
